1. When did you start cooking and who inspired you to chop your first onion and boil your first potatoes?

I always helped in the kitchen when I was a little girl.  Both of my parents were very good cooks.

2. What inspired you to start your own Food Blog and when this thing happened?

My son and daughter inspired me to start a cooking blog back in 2008.

3. What are your goals with your Food Blog this year?

My goals are to keep blogging and to be inspired to imagine new recipes to cook.

4. How did your lifestyle changed since you have been a Food Blogger?

I have been inspired by my readers with their kind comments and recognition of my food.

5. 3 words to describe your Food Blog.

Sharing my food.

6. What is the reason one should cook, follow and subscribe your Food Blog?

I can only hope that readers will find that when you prepare your meal you control the ingredients and are providing yourself and loved ones with fresh, healthy and affordable meals.

7. What was the highlight spot you’ve ever received for your Food Blog work?

I enjoy each and every comment that is given to a post.  It is inspiring and very heartwarming.  Each comment is a highlight.

8. If you have to select one recipe you have published on your Food Blog that you highly reccomend anyone to cook. Which would that be and why?

To pinpoint just one recipe is not possible.  I try to make my recipes both healthy and not complicated, therefore it would be up to the reader to decide what they are in the mood for.

9. Having cooked many recipes and then published them online on your Food Blog for the world to indulge, do you consider to make your own cook book, what will you name it and to whom you will dedicate it?

I have considered making a cookbook and it would be dedicated to my son and daughter.  I don’t know what I would name it.  I guess whatever comes to mind when I put it together.

10. Name 5 Ingredients you won’t live without that you have in your pantry or in your fridge and why?

Limiting it to five might be difficult but here goes…olive oil, garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes and Romano cheese.

11. What is your favourite Kitchen Gadget and why it is that important in your kitchen?

My favorite kitchen item is my cast iron griddle.  It is important to me because I use it everyday.  It grills everything just perfect. Most of all my brother gave it to me and that makes it very special.

12. If you could keep only one Cook Book from your collection, which one would you keep and what is the reason for that?

If I  could only choose one cookbook it would be my James Beard’s American Cookery cookbook. He is wonderful, simple, has a recipe for everything and everything comes out delicious.

13. If you are deserted on an island what are those 3 things you’ll get with you and why?

I never understood this question.  If I could only have three things what would I use them with…I’m desserted.  Well, I suppose I would like a plane, a pilot and enough fuel to get home! :)

14. What is your favourite quote that you want to share with all the readers?

If you don’t have a dream you can’t have a dream come true.
