PimpThatFood is a personal blog written and edited by me, Gordon Attard. It is a site with the intention to share easy original recipes and interesting food related content for everyone. PTF has been running since 2009 – first as a blog and in the last few months as an interactive food site where people are involved to share and participate. Since the beginning, the blog has seen consistent growth from just a handful of readers to hundreds everyday.

To help the site expand and cover the costs of running it, some advertising and affiliate links are displayed on the site. These help earn PTF a small commission and help the site growing.

Subscribers

Readers who subscribe to PTF will only receive messages generated by me. The only way to subscribe is where the readers can sign themselves by putting their name & email address on the list. Due to anti-spam measures, I am unable to add email addresses to that list, so if you are receiving any messages by me, it means that you have interest in receiving information from PTF. The list of subscribers is never shared or sold and it is used for PTF purposes only. At the end of each email there is an opt-out feature to unsubscribe so you will no longer receive from PTF.

Interactive

Readers have the possibility to get involved and interact with other food enthusiasts through the site with the use of Facebook & Twitter. Social media brings everyone more closer together. Readers have the opportunity to interact and share their food experiences like recipes, kitchen tips, kitchen tricks and other food related creations via the iContribute section.

Translation

I am aware of the fact that many Maltese readers visit this site very often, many of whom visit the site on a daily basis. I am frequently asked the question why the site is not in Maltese, my mother language. I chose to write in the English language to reach a wider audience and for the simple reason that many Maltese read and speak English fluently. Nonetheless I am willing to provide recipes and any other help in Maltese when requested. For the non-English readers or those who read little English, I suggest using Google automatic translation service either by installing the Google toolbar (for IE and Firefox users only) or by using the Google Chrome browser with built-in automatic translation.
